**The Tale of Arsus: The Gathering of Allies**

*Part 2*

The winds of Iceria no longer howled in despair. They carried a new sound—the hum of life, the crackle of lightning, and the soft rush of water flowing through once-frozen streets. Arsus stood at the heart of his capital city, surrounded by the icy remnants of his fallen kingdom, now slowly stirring back to life. Lena and Vision stood beside him, their eyes fixed on the rising spires that had once touched the sky.

But the revival of Glaciem was only the beginning. Arsus knew that a kingdom was more than just stone and ice. It was its people, and they were still scattered across the frozen north, lost and leaderless. The Frostaris Clan, his noble kin, had gone into hiding after the fall of Iceria, and dark forces still roamed the icy wilderness, the same forces that had brought his kingdom to ruin.

"We must find the rest of the Frostaris," Arsus said one cold morning as he and his companions prepared to depart from the capital. "The heart of Glaciem may beat once again, but without my people, this kingdom is still empty."

Lena nodded, her silver-blue fur shimmering in the dawn light. "I know of streams that lead deep into the mountains. There may be survivors hiding in the caves. The waters will guide us."

Vision, ever restless, sparked with energy. "And I can track down any who might have ventured into the storm. I'll scour the skies for signs of our people—or for any danger that lurks."

Arsus thanked his companions. He knew this journey would not be easy, but with Lena and Vision by his side, he felt the strength to continue. Together, they left Iceria, the icy walls of the capital city shrinking behind them as they ventured back into the wilderness, searching for the remnants of the Frostaris Clan.

Days turned into weeks as they crossed frozen rivers, climbed snow-covered peaks, and navigated through blinding blizzards. Lena's powers over water were invaluable, guiding them through treacherous ice flows and hidden caverns. Vision's electricity lit the way during dark nights, his energy fending off the lurking creatures of the cold.

But it was Arsus' deep connection to the ice, his bond with the land of Glaciem itself, that ultimately led them to their first discovery.

One evening, as they made camp in a sheltered valley, Arsus felt a strange pulse beneath the snow. It was faint but familiar—like the heartbeat of another wolf from the Frostaris Clan. His fur bristled with anticipation.

"We're close," Arsus growled, his breath misting in the icy air.

They followed the pulse through a narrow crevasse, descending deeper into the earth until they reached an ancient ice cave. Inside, the walls glistened with frozen crystals, and at the center, encased in a cocoon of ice, was a lone figure—a wolf, much like Arsus, though his fur was darker, streaked with silver and grey. His name was **Sirus**, one of the eldest of the Frostaris Clan, and a trusted warrior in Arsus' court before the fall of Glaciem.

"Sirus," Arsus called out, his voice echoing in the still air.

The ice around the elder wolf cracked and splintered, slowly releasing him from his frozen prison. Sirus opened his eyes, blinking against the sudden light. He looked at Arsus with disbelief.

"Arsus… my king," Sirus whispered, his voice hoarse from centuries of silence.

"I am no king of a fallen kingdom," Arsus said softly, stepping forward. "But I mean to change that. Glaciem has begun to rise again. I need your strength, old friend. Will you stand by me once more?"

Sirus bowed his head, the weight of his long imprisonment showing in his posture. "I have waited for this moment. Glaciem's fall was not the end. I will fight by your side, my king, until my last breath."

With Sirus now part of their group, Arsus felt his hope renewed. The elder wolf shared stories of other Frostaris members who had gone into hiding after the calamity. Some had taken refuge in the far northern forests, others in the deep ice caves beyond the mountains. Together, they mapped out their journey to find more survivors.

But as they ventured further into the frozen lands, they began to sense a growing darkness. The force that had destroyed Glaciem all those years ago had not disappeared. It had only grown stronger, lurking in the shadow of the mountains. Arsus could feel its presence, a dark energy that chilled even him, the king of ice.

One night, as they camped on the edge of a vast frozen lake, Lena approached Arsus, her expression troubled. "I've felt the water stir, Arsus. Something moves beneath the ice. It's not natural."

Vision, ever vigilant, growled low. "And the storms have been… off. The sky's been too quiet. I don't like it."

Arsus stood, gazing out over the frozen expanse. He had known that rebuilding Glaciem would not be easy, but this darkness… it was something more. Something ancient.

"We've woken something," Arsus said softly. "The revival of Glaciem has drawn out an old enemy."

Suddenly, the ice beneath them cracked, and from the depths of the lake, a towering creature of shadow and frost emerged. Its form was massive, a swirling mass of dark ice and cold fire, eyes glowing with a malevolent light. It was the **Frost Revenant**, an ancient being of the cold, one that had been sealed away by Arsus' ancestors long ago.

The creature roared, sending a shockwave of cold air that knocked Lena and Vision back. Arsus stood his ground, his eyes narrowing as he faced the beast.

"I remember you," Arsus growled. "It was your kind that destroyed my kingdom."

The Frost Revenant loomed over him, its voice a deep, rumbling echo. "Glaciem belongs to the cold, Arsus. You cannot change that. Your kingdom's time has passed."

But Arsus, king of Glaciem and last of the Frostaris, was not one to back down. With a howl that echoed across the frozen lands, he charged at the creature, his ice powers surging through him. Lena summoned a torrent of water, and Vision called down a storm, their powers uniting in a fierce clash against the ancient enemy.

The battle had begun.
